Base Realignment and Closure Program Manager

Key Role:

Serve as the contract program manager supporting the Army's Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Program. Oversee the complete execution of all contract task areas, including resource management, BRAC Environmental Coordinator support, property conveyance, explosives safety, environmental management support, communications, and large-scale infrastructure analysis and Army Basing Study support. Maintain responsibility for all aspects of the planning, engineering, design, implementation, and overall performance of the work. Formulate and enforce work standards, assign schedules, review work discrepancies, and communicate the policies, purposes, and goals of the contract objectives to subordinates. Serve as a senior advisor to Army BRAC leadership.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with managing large-scale projects, contract, funds, and resources

-5 years of experience with DoD BRAC programs and performing program reviews and analysis across a broad spectrum of BRAC activities

-Experience with issues specific to the requirements of planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of the BRAC program

-Experience with current laws and policies related to BRAC

-Knowledge of DoD-wide installation long-range plans, including DoD and Army BRAC Business Plans submissions to Congress

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-MA or MS degree

-Project Management Professional Certification
