Change Management and Communications Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Provide organizational and mass communications and change management consulting to organizational leaders, members, and stakeholders at unclassified and classified levels. Perform baseline assessments, design a communication approach, and develop products and vehicles. Implement a communication plan. Evaluate plans and make recommendations, as needed. Create, design, and write complex publication materials, employee communications, newsletters, bulletins, and informational materials for internal or external audiences. Support updates to and development and implementation of the organization's communications strategy to ensure consistent, relevant, accurate, tailored, and timely communications with internal and external stakeholders. Identify change management opportunities and develop change management plans and strategies to assist the client with implementing organizational and technology changes.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with communications

-3+ years of experience with change management

-Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Experience with performing a baseline assessment, designing a communications approach, developing products and vehicles, and implementing a communications plan, including evaluating and adjusting it

-Experience in working directly with senior leaders

-Ability to develop and implement communication strategies

-Ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment and multitask

-Ability to create organizational and strategic communications among organizational leaders, members, and stakeholders at unclassified and classified levels

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working on strategic communications in the US Army or DoD community

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent analysis and data gathering skills

-BA or BS degree in a Journalism- or Communications-related field preferred
