Strategic and Theater Sealift Acquisition Logistician

Key Role:

Provide the Navy client with general logistics support for the acquisition, delivery, and follow-on support of small craft acquisition programs. Research industry designs and plans for life cycle sustainment processes and policies and provide recommendations to the client to assist with determining cost, readiness, and supportability impact of concepts. Assist with the development and evaluation of plans, procedures, and processes for certifications, validation, and verification, as they interrelate with integrated logistics deliverables.


Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with providing logistics support services to a maritime client

-Knowledge of logistics databases, including CMPro, OARS, VAMOSC, Haystack, and OneTouch

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Acquisition Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Certifications

-Defense Acquisition Agency (DAU) Level I Life Cycle Logistics or equivalent certification
