Machine Intelligence Data Scientist, Mid

The Challenge:

Collecting, analyzing, and communicating information isn't new. Data science has been around for a long time, but not many people know exactly how to use it. You, however, know how to find and analyze all of the important data in an organization. You are able to draw conclusions and communicate them to the right people, in a way that will make their next steps clear. We're looking for you, a data scientist who knows how to step back and understand the complete picture of an organization's data and help them to use it effectively.

On our team, you'll have the opportunity to support aircraft readiness by working with the military to realize the answers hidden in their own data. You will examine current data stores, processes, and formats, to make recommendations on how to better collect, integrate, and use incoming data. As the data science expert, leadership will look to your guidance to help them answer their questions, as well as provide them with conclusions they didn't know could be derived from their data. You will communicate changes that are needed, such as buying more parts, improve aircraft reliability, implement better training, or develop better processes, based on the story the data tells. Join our team and help improve national security by showing the military how powerful their data can be.

The Perks:

A great job isn't all we have to offer - at Booz Allen, we're constantly launching and supporting firmwide training and mentoring programs like the Data Science 5k Challenge, Data Science Bowl, hackathons, and meetups. You'll be empowered by our latest tools and technology, and can take advantage of our tuition assistance. With an engaged community already thousands strong, we intend to continue to build on and offer new opportunities for our experts to grow while focused on solving the hard problems and supporting our client missions.
