NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Travel Program Consultant to join our team in Alexandria , Virginia (US-VA) , United States (US) . Roles and Responsibilities: Provides general program support to sustain, reshape, and develop existing and emerging Government Travel Programs Researches and resolves Help Desk Tickets that get escalated from the Travel Assistance Center (TAC). Prepares statistical information and metrics related to commercial travel programs and performs benchmarking/market research to identify trends, potential or existing problems. Performs travel program studies, analyses, and review in accordance with DoD and Federal regulations, and travel industry rules and practices at the direction of the Government. Programs to be supported may include Commercial Air, US Government Car and Truck Rental Programs, DoD Preferred Lodging Program, The Military Bus Program, Recruit Travel and Assistance, Government Travel Charge Card and DoD Dining Program. Must have knowledge and experience working with Defense Travel System and knowledge of government and Department of Defense travel policies, programs, regulations, directives including the extensive knowledge Federal Travel Regulation (FTR), Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). Applies advanced knowledge of travel industry trends and key issues to provide solutions to challenges facing client. Required Qualifications: 8-10 years of experience supporting government travel programs Excellent written and oral communications skills. Expert analytical/problem solving skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Desired Skills: Expertise using Global Distribution Systems (Apollo, Sabre, Worldspan) Expertise providing support to DoD Travel programs Knowledge in DoD Travel Regulations Experienced working with travel stakeholders to support the refinement of existing and emerging DoD travel programs Experience performing studies in accordance with Federal Travel regulations and travel industry rules Experience working with Defense Travel System This position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
