Within Capital Group, North American Distribution (NAD) oversees sales and distribution for North America across various client groups including: individual investors, retirement plans and institutional clients. Their efforts are focused on positioning Capital Group as the active investment manager of choice, providing superior service, sales and marketing experience while broadening our business. Role Overview: Reporting to the Director of Private Bank & Bank Trust segment. The Senior National Account Manager for Private Bank and Trust will be responsible for guiding and directing Capital Group's relationship for select Private Bank, Super Regional Banks and Bank/Trusts by delivering sales and marketing ideas in support of North America Distribution (NAD) business initiatives. This positions leads and maintains sole responsibility for business development activities for their identified firms. They manage NAD's relationship for a firm from executive management, manager research, investment portfolio (model) teams, product management and other centers of influence including field leadership where appropriate. They work to expand Capital Group and American Funds investment relevance driving product approvals and servicing, model placements, and overall investment viewpoints to the firm. Responsibilities: Engaging and driving holistic enterprise strategy and relationship from executive management; manager research; investment and portfolio construction home office teams; product management; and key centers of influence including field sales leadership. Serves as primary contact to designated firms and Capital Group. Coordinates product, resource approvals and promotions with key firms by establishing strong communication and developing a thorough understanding each firm's approval process. Identifies new business development campaigns and opportunities at home office and field level, develops business plans, and communicates updates to broad internal audiences as necessary to drive execution. Cross collaborating across various wealth management and institutional/retirement associates to ensure effective communication and supporting Capital Group and American Funds strategy. Planning and prioritizing investment professional engagements based upon client demand and product relevance and readiness; coordinating Capital Group leadership to key home office leaders to help build deeper shared enterprise relationship and business trends.
