GEO Security Manager (Job Number:436175) Description: Job Description - SAIC is hiring an Information Security Manager for the GSA GEO Program - SAIC has teamed with the GSA to design, develop, and support the evolution of IT Service Delivery for the GSA Enterprise. - GSA IT requires an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-based solution that has an integrated, enterprise-wide focus to deliver shared IT services in accordance with GSA IT's governance structure and portfolio-based framework. The GSA Enterprise Operations (GEO) program supports a wide variety of technologies including: - WAN/LAN networking, Directory Services, Electronic Messaging and Collaboration, Data Centers, Servers and Storage, Desktops, Remote Access, Unified Communications, VTC, Tools, and Project Management. - The Information Security Manager will assist the Program Manager in providing thought leadership and technical guidance to the engineering staff responsible for developing and maintaining the GEO IT Security, across all technology management areas supported by the GEO program. - The GEO IT Security program must promote alignment with the business, supportability, integration quality, and operational readiness of all solutions. - Solutions will support effective and appropriate system monitoring, performance analysis, network management, troubleshooting, availability, redundancy, and contingency planning. Responsibilities: - Drive overall GEO vulnerability reporting - Ensure Program meets or exceeds applicable security SLA's - Monitoring and Managing security risks - Server security oversight to include hardening and Windows GPO (Group Policy Objects), anti-virus and access control - Coordinate and assist customer in developing necessary documentation to comply with FISMA requirements for Accreditation, Risk Management, Physical Security, Remediation, hardening support, scanning support and other areas as needed. - Supervise multiple Junior security personnel to include Information Security and Physical Security skillsets. Qualifications: Required Education/Skills: - ISC2 CISSP or equivalent - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and fourteen (14) years of experience; or a Master's degree or equivalent experience and twelve (12) years of experience. Equivalent experience substituted for degrees must be in Tier II support, Tier III support, or performing as a Government ISSO. - 5+ years of experience administering Government Agency Security programs ie prior ISSO experience or equivalent. - Experience managing diverse groups of security personnel working on multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience developing project plans and schedules and briefing senior government customers. - Expert experience in Audits, POAMS, FISMA, Security MOU's, Security oversight - Experience supporting government customers in unsecure and secure environments, familiarity of government operating standards and applicable guidelines. - Firsthand experience in developing and providing quality assurance review of audits, assumption of Risk, Business process documents, ATO (Authority to operate) documentation - Expert experience with applicable government security regulations, policies, standards and procedures - Experience in performing root cause analysis, risk identification, and risk mitigation. - Experience functioning in a leadership role is required ie Former CISO, ISSO or equivalent. Desired Education/Skills: - ITIL (R) Foundation certification - Certifications: PMP, ITIL, Security Plus, GIAC, etc. - Familiarity with US government network environments and policies (data and voice networks, IT security systems, policies and procedures). - Interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate effectively, self- awareness, and excellent written and oral communications. - Ability to function in a leadership role, conduct presentations and represent contractor to the customer in a lead role - Experience or knowledge of the Government CDM (Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation) Program SAIC Overview:SAIC is a premier technology integrator providing full life cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets.
