Rustico Ballston is part of Neighborhood Restaurant Group which has a long history of staying at the front of the craft beer scene in Maryland, NOVA, and Washington, DC thanks to our Beverage Director Greg Engert. Our location at Rustico Ballston is seeking out individuals who are ready to be submerged in the craft beer scene with 40 rotating drafts and 2 rotating cask with close to 300 different bottle selections. You will not find macro beers here but unique and rare micro beers in every category. We will have our training class starting soon and it will run Monday through Friday from 11 to 5. We are looking for vibrant personalities and individuals who are motivated to succeed and learn to exceed expectations, which will in turn make you more money. Experience is preferred in a craft beer background but we can teach beer and food if you are willing to learn. What we can't teach is personality, drive to excel, and your ability and willingness to learn. The craft beer industry is a constantly evolving scene that takes constant vigilance to keep up with the newest brewing techniques and ingredients being used, which knowing helps you communicate to your guests what they are ordering and drinking. Aside from our outstanding craft beer program we have a scratch kitchen that is top notch and works with local farms for fresh ingredients that go into everyone of our dishes and you will be expected to learn that menu in detail as well. Rustico Ballston is more than just a restaurant/bar, it is the neighborhood club house with family friendly atmosphere. Being at Rustico either on the team or as a guest you are treated like family and that is the mentality we want all of our staff to walk through the door with everyday.
