Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Position Summary The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing specific tasks associated with the implementation of marketing plans and communications activities. Reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications. Responsibilities Works closely with the Marketing and Communications Director on implementing NPMA's overall communications plan Coordinate and maintain overarching communications calendar across all departments Write and develop press releases announcing NPMA meetings, services and programs Update content on NPMA website and community website Assist with updates to the state association websites Work closely with Marketing and Communications Manager to implement social media strategy Maintain NPMA Events mobile app in preparation for conferences Prepare PowerPoint slides recognizing sponsors at NPMA meetings Work collaboratively with staff to process large mailings Assist with graphic design for meeting promotions ensuring design concept and message is consistent throughout all communications Perform general administrative duties, including serving as member of back up team for answering telephones, database entry, etc. Other duties as required NPMA's shared core values describe our essence and guide our actions.
