We're on the hunt for a marketer with 3-4 years of experience that can help us execute integrated marketing communication plans to support our sales organizations. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing Choice's marketing automation efforts to drive business travel and help sell new franchises. What you will do The B2B Marketing Communications Manager will be a core member of the B2B Marketing team, supporting the goals of two critical sales functions within the organization. In this role, the selected candidate will manage all online communication for both Global Sales and Franchise Development. Responsibilities to include: Manages and implements sales communications plans and integrated campaigns across B2B markets to generate leads and drive business with clients. Will maintain a comprehensive communications calendar across two distinct market segments, and communicate with the sales organizations in advance of all distributions. Proactively recommend content such as newsletters, whitepapers, thought leadership content, webinars, etc. Serves as the SME for marketing automation specifically using Pardot and Salesforce. Works closely with internal and external creative teams to develop content plans, execute creative, gain internal approvals and deploy all messaging. Actively tests communication tactics through A/B testing to optimize performance of campaigns. Reports on campaign results to identify areas for improvement. Manages the ChoiceHotelsDevelopment.com website, partnering across the B2B marketing team, brand organization and sales team to ensure that all content is current and up to date. Monitor and route all leads that are generated through the website and proactively recommend opportunities to drive additional traffic to the site. For all the above projects: Writes creative briefs for review and approval by the Director, B2B Marketing and the appropriate sales teams. Delivers creative briefs to the applicable agencies/designers and ensures work is executed against the creative brief. Presents creative options for review and approval. Ensures all content has been cleared by Legal. Manages quality assurance throughout the pre- and production phases, including accuracy of content, grammar, spelling and tone. Ensures correct usage of corporate and brand identity standards. Measures, tracks and analyzes success and ROI of initiatives and optimizes plans accordingly. Manages and maintains relationships with agencies, designers and other outside vendors. Provides input to the development of sales communications strategies and initiatives. Understands the role of the department in the overall corporate strategy and sets objectives that are aligned with this role. Continuously keeps up on industry trends, direction, opportunities, and applicability as it pertains to Choice. Skills you have 3-4 years relevant experience in B2B marketing/communications at an advertising agency, in-house advertising or marketing communications department. Experience with marketing automation (ie Pardot) highly preferred Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications, or related field, from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated success in driving and executing implementation of sales communications/marketing plans. Strong understanding and knowledge of integrated marketing communication in both traditional and new media. Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated project management skills. Highly proficient in the use of MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to develop and manage successful internal and external relationships. Ability to drive results in a team-oriented and cross-functional environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to travel 20% of the time.
