Futrend Technology is looking for an experienced financially savvy Program Portfolio Manager to join our team of industry leading professionals. This person will be tasked with leading multiple critical projects, with a specific account focus, in a highly visible capacity. He/she will be required to oversee a team of 25 or more professionals at client site, including the management of subordinate project managers and senior staff, with a focus on profitable financial service delivery. The Program Manager will develop and maintain relationships with senior Government clients and teaming partners to successfully deliver accounting and financial support services. He/she will be responsible for account business development, capture management, and growth. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead FUTREND's project teams in the delivery of high-quality accounting and financial consulting support services, including planning, programming, budgeting, operations, accounting, reporting, auditing and systems modernization Identify new business opportunities with existing customers Provide leadership, motivation, direction, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff Serve as primary FUTREND representative to customers for account-wide business delivery, successful completion of projects within time and budget, and meeting quality standards from contract initiation through delivery and project closeout Lead development, updates and review of project-specific work breakdown structures, management plans, resource driven schedules, quality management plans, contract deliverables, issues and risks Ensure project team members follow FUTREND service delivery processes and procedures Manage utilization and allocation of assigned team members to minimize project costs while meeting project delivery requirements and milestones Work closely with and support the Government Program Manager and executives; listen to their needs and requirements, and work with the team to design and develop business and financial solutions to meet those requirements Understand, maintain an awareness of, and manage complex business relationships and interactions with Government clients, stakeholders, and other contractors Manage contract funding, scope, and financials Facilitate formal and informal briefings to Government clients and stakeholders Introduce and implement proven practices to improve organizational and delivery performance and cost effective solution development Location: Bethesda, MD Minimum requirements: · 10+ years' experience in federal financial management arena performing duties such as Government accounting operations, financial management, AR/AP, general ledger and/or auditing, with 10+ years of related project/program management experience · Knowledge of Intragovernmental Payment and Collection (IPAC) system · Knowledge of Oracle Financials Federal contract management experience Proven ability to lead a portfolio of projects, manage financials and track profitability across multiple contracts, with experience in developing winning proposals and growing the business Strong project management and leadership skills, with excellent client interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work with a diverse range of professionals Excellent organizational, communication (both verbal and written), presentation, and time management skills Experience managing customer, contractor, and stakeholder communications Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or related business field · Applicants selected will be subject to a Public Trust background security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information Preferred skills: · Advanced degree · PMP and CPA Certification Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) · Experience with different types of Government contract types (eg, Firm-Fixed Price, T&M) · Oracle Financials Federal · Proven experience in growing client relationships and creating opportunities in adjacent markets We offer a competitive salary and great benefits package.
