Job Description Job Description: Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures, is responsible for ACH/Payroll and Share Draft processing and assisting Accounting staff with balancing, GL entries, and other related duties. Performs a broad-range of customer service activities via phone, mail, email, fax, and online services. Provides various customer services via phone. Responds to questions and/or provides information upon request from customers (internal and external). Processes requests/transactions, as appropriate. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with some college level accounting courses or AA degree preferred. Minimum (3) years previous accounting preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills. Knowledge of rules and regulations applicable to member account programs and electronic delivery systems. Previous experience dealing with ACH and Share drafts. Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment. PC proficient including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet. Must possess a strong sales and service orientation. Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills. Some travel required. Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment .
