Job Scope: The Vice President, Marketing will report to the Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing located at our corporate headquarters in Herndon, VA. Responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving global marketing targets. Specific responsibilities include business and market development; market research and planning; strategic direction for product promotion; coordination with sales. Duties may include any of the following: + Serve as marketing leader: developing annual marketing plans and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve goals and continued brand growth. Prepare quarterly presentations for executives, board members, SVP Sales & Marketing explain the company s current and future strategies. + Provide leadership and governance to the marketing function within the business plus liaise effectively with the senior team to ensure delivery of sales targets and client satisfaction expectations are met. + Provide leadership and/or support the design, development, implementation of products lines, and developing and managing Direct to Consumer strategies and campaigns. + Manage new product launches including planning and executing pre-launch demand generation activity; leading logistical, promotional, and sales support activity during launch; and driving post-launch tracking and marketing programs to maximize sales. + Create and execute on a successful market access program to support the reimbursement strategies/managed markets of new and existing products. + Oversee and provide direction to market and competitor analysis. + Provide leadership, direction and management of the market research activities. + Ensure all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources. + Responsible for forecasting, analytics, and managing brand P&L. + Manage creation of communications for external related to marketing/product strategy. + Attend conferences to obtain new competitive information and keep abreast of clinical trends and support. + Exhibit knowledge of, and adhere to, all applicable laws, regulations, industry practices, and company policies related to marketing and promotion. + Ensure that customer care is highly reflected throughout all aspects of work undertaken. + Analyze existing product and markets in terms of the ability to compete, gain market share, grow revenue and sustain or grow profitability. + Establish effective relationship with the sales force through leadership, training, pricing and positioning expertise. + Lead the process for the continuous evaluation of trends and adjust strategy to capitalize on shifts in the marketplace. + Create a global mindset, inspire his/her team and others to action, connect closely with the salesforce and leverage data to make appropriate changes or progress. + Bachelor's degree required, Business and/or Marketing education are preferred, (MBA a plus). + Minimum of 15+ years of experience in the technology industry with a combination of experience in marketing, sales. + Ability to understand and effectively communicate products to key external audiences in the community + Effectively lead, manage, coach, and develop others to ensure appropriate successor readiness.
