Description:Perdue AgriBusiness, LLC has an opening for a Staffing Recruiter in Salisbury, MD. This position is responsible for providing leadership for the AgriBusiness local and national recruiting programs. To coordinate the full life cycle recruiting programs to include sourcing, screening and presenting candidates to management and completing the cycle by negotiating offers, hiring and on-boarding new hires. Responsibilites: Identifies AgriBusiness employment needs and recruits candidates to fill AgriBusiness positions in a timely and cost effective manner.Develops a strong working relationship with department managers and supervisors to develop an understanding of the departments function in order to help candidates better understand potential employment opportunities.Sources candidates, reviews resumes, and prescreens candidates to ensure they meet established criteria of the position.Interviews all candidates and develops and provides recommended screening questions and a detailed summary of the candidate to hiring managers and supervisors.Coordinates all logistics and scheduling required for the interview process to ensure a positive environment for the candidate.Performs detailed reference and background checks on applicable candidates selected for hire.Develops employment offers and extend offers to candidates in coordination with the hiring manager and the VP of Human Resources.Ensure all employment documentation is accurate and completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures as well as Federal, State, and local government laws and regulations.Creates new and innovative methods to improve the recruitment process.Coordinates and constantly improves the AgriBusiness on boarding process.Perform other tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications: 5 to 7 years of experienceUnderstanding of the human resource function (to include employment law, staffing, compensation, EEO/AAP)Understanding of OSHA laws, regulations and requirementsUnderstanding of Worker''s Compensation laws and regulationsStrong leadership skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong analytical, planning and organizational skillsUnderstanding of standard software applications Details:Perdue family of companies is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce.
