  • All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended temporary duty (TDY) or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
  • Must successfully complete all required certification courses and training for the discipline, position, and grade as directed by the CG, INSCOM and the MICECP Program Director.
  • Must successfully complete the Continuing Education Senior Leader Course.
  • Relocation/Recruitment incentives may be authorized.

    In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.     To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GG/GS-14) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes demonstrated experience in leading various Human Intelligence (HUMINT) or Counterintelligence (CI) operations and activities, including interfacing with both senior US or Foreign Government officials; demonstrated experience in providing broad policy, management, and operational guidance for an entire organization or activity; develop operations concepts, plans, and orders as it applies to a supported HUMINT or CI organization; manage national level counterintelligence liaison activities with high-level military, intelligence, security, and law enforcement officials in complex political environments.

    Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled.This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.
    • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
    • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
    • Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
