The search leader will have the opportunity to translate key growth objectives into tactical search strategies, identify and nurture channel partners, and prioritize and invest marketing budgets. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Search Engine Marketing and a passion for growth. You will need a deep understanding of how paid Search marketing works in concert with an overall digital marketing strategy, leverage analytics to identify trends and optimize search, and monitor and report on performance. The candidate should have experience managing search partners, including sourcing, placement and harvesting of leads, from initial awareness through conversion. This person will drive cross-functional teams of technologists, marketers, product managers and partners to drive growth in Search. You will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation. Where you can make an impact: Stand up and grow in-house SEM capabilities Work on high impact, strategic and user acquisition-focused projects (related to paid digital marketing, growth levers, partnerships, and the Capital One brand) The ideal candidate will have: Obsession with testing everything, delivering the best customer experiences, and rapid growth Proven track-record of delivering on business goals with quality and speed Experience managing and optimizing all designated paid media campaigns Analytical strength to evaluate performance in order to maximize revenue, identify opportunities, optimize campaigns, and report key metrics Success in leading cross-functional teams to drive outcomes Excellent oral and written communication skills Aptitude for learning about marketing technology and machine learning Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experience At least 7 years of experience in marketing analytics At least 5 years of SEM experience At least 5 years of experience in people management Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Master's degree 7+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into large-scale campaigns 7+ years of SEM experience
