Physical Therapist Floater
Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to float between our inpatient and outpatient therapy departments located in Rockville, Takoma Park, Gaithersburg and Silver Spring, MD.
We offer comprehensive rehabilitation programs for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputations, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, sports related injuries, work-related injuries and more.
As essential participants in the health care delivery system, physical therapists assume leadership roles in rehabilitation; in prevention, health maintenance, and programs that promote health, wellness, and fitness; and in professional and community organizations. Physical therapists also play important roles both in developing standards for physical therapist practice and in developing health care policy to ensure availability, accessibility, and optimal delivery of health care services. Physical therapists' services have a positive impact on health-related quality of life.
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited program, licensure as a PT in the state of Maryland and current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue. In order to promote and maintain a healthy work environment, Adventist HealthCare will not hire applicants for employment who either state that they are nicotine users or who test positive for nicotine use.
