Position Overview
Freddie Mac’s Single Family Division is currently seeking an Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance Manager to manage and support the Master Data Management (MDM) capability. Our organization (‘SFDG&M’) is responsible for providing increased data management discipline and structure for the acquisition, consolidation, and governance of critical data that has widespread use across Single Family business processes Responsibilities include:
*Chair the Master Data Management Stakeholder governance working group
*Collaborate with stakeholders to develop prioritization of data requirements and develop formal implementation plan
*Manage the intake and onboarding/close out processes for customers, resources, technology for MDM capability
*Lead implementation and adoption of the Master Data Management (MDM) strategy
*Oversee creation of data cleansing and standardization rules
*Oversee creation of match/merge rules to minimize data steward intervention
*Develop complex user testing strategies
*Develop data movement control strategies
*Create and monitor KPIs and metrics to measure success
*Establish and monitor SLAs with IT and various business areas
*Support annual updates relating to MDM for the SF Data Governance Standard
*Create and execute training plan for Informatica Master Data Management tool
*Manage the SOX and operational controls that are monitored on the MDM scorecard/dashboards
*Execute reporting for monthly MDM Business Process Review and other adhoc reporting requests The Single-Family Data Governance & Management sits within the Single-Family line of business. This position will not configure settings within the Master Data Management tool but will build rules and scorecards within Informatica’s Data Quality Tool.

Basic Requirements
*Working knowledge of Informatica’ s Master Data Management and Data Quality tools
*Excellent written and oral communication skills. Writing and editing skills should be demonstrated through a work portfolio of past professional communications.
*Knowledge of BI reporting tools (Microstrategy and/or Tableau)
*Knowledge SOX Control design and implementation
*8 to 10 years of overall progressive experience supporting a divisional/enterprise data function, or similar experience
*2 or more years of experience leading teams and coaching subordinates
*2 or more years of project management experience
*Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills
*Working knowledge of Splunk as a business monitoring and alternate data quality tool
