Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the WorldLaboratory TechnologistDC Metro AreaSeeking a Laboratory Technologist to support a government program.All work will be performed on-site with the government and requires US Citizen with an active TS/SCI with poly. Lab Tech will work government and contractor personnel supporting lab medicine for a variety of duties including conducting patient screenings, performing phlebotomy, running lab devices, conducting equipment calibration, and following protocols for sample labeling and sample processing. Qualified candidates will have the following: * US Citizen* Current TS/SCI with poly* Experience working as a Lab Tech including supporting field locations* Knowledge of federal lab laws and ability to follow all related protocols * Ability to maintain lab equipment including understanding and conducting calibrations and preparing equipment and records / logs for routine inspections* Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) certification* Urine Drug Screening / Drug Testing Certification* Ability to conduct screenings such as vision and color testing, audiogram/audiology testing, and Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)* Experience with pediatric phlebotomy and testing* Prior support for with a government / military medical unit* Availability for travel to CONUS/OCONUS locationsThis position is contingent upon contract award with an anticipated start date in July/August 2018.An Equal Opportunity Employer.
