This position is primarily responsible for performing transactions in compliance with regulatory and bank policies and procedures, and in adherence to bank security policies and confidentiality of bank records and customer information. Performs a wide variety of complex loan operational tasks in addition to supporting other departmental processes as needed. Position Accountabilities * Ability to work effectively independently and be a team player * Responds to inquiries relating to his or her particular area or to requests from customers and other Bank personnel within given time frames and within established policy. * Supports other teams within the department * Understanding team processes and procedures and provide updates and/or improvements * Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including compliance with the Bank's BSA/AML Policy and Procedures * Ensure excellent service is provided to our internal partners and customers. * Identifies and resolves issues within assigned team * Performs all other job duties as assigned and provide assistance to support team * Provide high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive information. * Takes accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure. Provide recommendations on areas of opportunities * Ensure daily production goals are met and maintains quality (Loan Ops) Proactively research potential issues and provide solutions; executing as appropriate and managing up to Team Lead * Participate on projects * Complete a Quality Assurance review to ensure proper documentation and perfection of collateral in adherence of policies, procedures and regulatory requirements is present (Loan Ops) * Proactively communicate loan status with loan officers throughout the process; respond to questions in a timely manner and notify all parties when additional information is needed (Loan Ops) * Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure system updates are performing as intended (Loan Ops) * Maintain thorough knowledge of documentation required to meet underwriting and compliance requirements (Loan Ops) * Creates all required loan documents, using D+H LaserPro system, according to lender instructions for all Real Estate and Non Real Estate Commercial Loans and/or Small Business Loans (Loan Ops) * Ensures loan is funded and boarded on the Bank's CORE system (Loan Ops & Loan Ops - RE Post Closing) * Verify loans uploaded/boarded on to the CORE system (Post Closing - Consumer and Commercial) * Ensure loan documentation is scanned accurately (Post Closing) * Process, review, research, and file Loan Documentation, including notes, disclosures, security agreements, collateral and other documents. (Post-Closing) Organizational Relationship This position reports to the Supervisor - Commercial Lending OperationsPosition Qualifications Education & Experience * High School diploma or equivalent required. * Minimum 3 years of loan operations or related experience; commercial loan experience in real estate & non real estate preferred * Banking/accounting/finance experience preferred Knowledge & Skills * Experience with MS Office Suite * High level of accuracy and great attention to detail * Excellent customer service skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Detail oriented and quality focused * Flexible, able to adapt to change * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Able to handle multiple tasks * Experience with loan operations processes. * Familiar with loan documents * Familiar with regulatory and legal requirements for loan operations We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer, Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran.
