CONTRACT ATTORNEY - Manufacturing/Supplier Contracts Support (Maryland) Our Fortune 500 Corporate client is looking for an experienced attorney to assist them on a long term contract assignment supporting their manufacturing business. The Contract Attorney will be responsible for reviewing materials, manufacturing, and third party supplier Agreements. The Attorney will work closely with the Corporate business person to identify risks, negotiate terms and move agreements forward to execution. Responsibilities: Review and negotiate Manufacturing and Third Party Contracts (raw material contracts) Analyze and Identify Risks and Issues within Manufacturing Contracts Assist in negotiating favorable terms with close attention to product liability, trade issues, indemnification, environmental, along with other terms Review and manage International Agreements with focus on particular issues that arise with those types of contracts Negotiate Customer Agreements (Sales by Company of its Products to Customers) Ability to walk a contract through a review process to its close/execution Strategic thinking related to impacts of contracts Facilitate relationship between the particular business unit and Legal within the company Strong communication skills - written and verbal Problem Solver Qualifications: JD degree from an ABA accredited law school Bar Licensed - Active and in Good Standing Contract experience within the Manufacturing, Chemical, Material Industries WHY WORK FOR LUCAS GROUP?
