Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the WorldLaw Enforcement AdvisorPAE seeks Law Enforcement Advisor candidates to support a potential opportunity on the Department of Justice's International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) program. ICITAP works in various countries worldwide whose mission is to work with foreign governments to develop effective, professional, and transparent law enforcement capacity that protects human rights, combats corruption, and reduces the threat of transnational crime and terrorism, in support of US foreign policy and national security objectives. Please note this advertisement is for positions in advance of the award of the contract.General responsibilities include:Provide advice related to organizational development, interagency cooperation, and developing training programs to investigate transnational crime, corruption, and terrorismDevelop plans and strategy to forge interagency partnerships in international environmentsProvide advice regarding professionalizing foreign national Criminal Justice and international enforcementAssess training needs and requirements for effective implementationProvide policy, operations analysis, recommendations, and reportsOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree7+ years of sworn civilian law enforcement experience2+ years of international experienceSenior management experience with a civilian police force or a federal law enforcement agencyExperience as a teacher, trainer or advisor to other criminal justice professionalsTraining/mentoring experience in anti-corruption concerns processes, internal affairs and problem resolutionAbility to establish and manage personnel and budgetsDesired Qualifications:Various specialties such at Police advisement, Corrections and ForensicsExperience advising foreign officials, executives at state or federal levels on law enforcement/police issuesExperience working in multi-cultural settings- managing, mentoring or advising foreign personnelExperience leading international law enforcement operationsExperience working with the FBI or DEA and an International task forceLanguage skills are a plus15 - 20 years of sworn civilian law enforcement experience7 - 10 years of international experienceMaster's degreeAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
