ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Ensure high-level proficiency in applying child safety and risk management knowledge, policies and procedures throughout all aspects of job functionConduct volunteer enrollments including individual orientations, interviews and completion of enrollment processesConduct parent/child enrollments at the child s home and provide child safety education and program orientation; assess and refer families for alternative or additional services as neededMeet established monthly and annual goals for new matches, match quality, documentation quality, processing time and customer satisfactionMaintain accurate paperwork and data entry into agency web-based system for each participant according to agency standards including completion of necessary surveysProvide timely and comprehensive reports and recommendations for participation in the program based upon enrollment information and assessments of each potential match participantNurture and sustain the mentoring experience for volunteer adults and youth matched in our programEffectively coach and motivate volunteers to grow relationships that result in positive youth developmentPartner with community organizations and recruit volunteers and youth for program participationPartner with other youth-serving and community organizations establish BBBSY programming.Other duties as assignedWORKING CONDITIONS:Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Must have own reliable mode of transportation and use to perform certain job requirements.Must have current and valid driver s license to operate motorMust maintain current and valid insurance to cover personal mode of transportation. Ability to perform office related tasks and utilize required office equipment, including telephone, cell phone, fax machine, copy machine, and computer.Required SkillsSKILLS:Must be fluent in Spanish (written and spoken)Excellent oral and written communication skills reflecting solid customer service and high-level interviewing skillsDemonstrated ability to: form appropriate assessment-based relationships; relate well in multicultural environments; maintain confidentiality throughout daily operations; effectively collaborate with other volunteer match staff; use time effectively; and focus onDemonstrated ability to collect meaningful data and draw solidProficiency in computer skills including Word, Outlook, and Excel.Required ExperienceQUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION Bachelor s degree or equivalent in social services, human resources or related field.EXPERIENCE At least one (1) year of work experience in the field of social services, human resources or a related field.Demonstrated work experience working with both child and adult populationsProficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and the Google Platform
