As a Global Channel Excellence Manager in Gaithersburg, MD, you'll play a pivotal role in activating our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives., Our North America Commercial Headquarters are in Wilmington, DE, and one of our three core global R&D centers is in Gaithersburg, MD. Gaithersburg is also home to MedImmune, the global biologics research and development arm of AstraZeneca. We have a number of other R&D, manufacturing and office locations across the country. AstraZeneca utilizes closed-loop marketing to gather intelligence on the performance of channel content across the customer journey. The Global Channel Excellence Manager is a multichannel marketing subject matter expert who understands digital content and the broad array of integrated marketing activities. The Manager should also be able to provide customer conversion intelligence to marketing leaders to improve poorly performing web pages, enhance components within different marketing campaigns and. However, most importantly for this role, the Global Channel Excellence Manager must be able to take on programme management responsibilities., The Global Channel Excellence Manager will primarily be focused on the internal AstraZeneca Market Excellence Program called STAMP Campaigns. This initiative requires a quick-thinking individual who is entrepreneurial, has strong communications and relationship management skills, and is able to synthesize vast amounts of information into detailed presentations that are easy to understand by any marketer. This role is key to the success of this global initiative. Our aim is to enhance collaboration by providing marketers around the world with access to the latest innovative marketing campaigns, allowing them to participate in discussions and share best practice examples across the business. The information that the Manager will gather and translate in the form of packs (presentations and web pages) will give AZ marketers from around the globe access to strategic guidance, product launch implementation, marketing campaign playbooks, historical use cases, and best practices. The Global Channel Excellence Manager is responsible for collaborating with a team to develop, manage and maintain the content of each Pack. The Manager should be comfortable having a diverse set of day-to-day responsibilities from engaging and partnering with key stakeholders around the world to maintaining and developing site content or execution global communication strategies. The Global Channel Excellence Manager will take selected original projects from idea to final product including story development, synthesizing information, writing summary presentations, preparing interview questions, filming interviews (no advance video skills necessary, an interest is sufficient). The Manager will be responsible for creating end-to-end content that is detailed, engaging and that communicates and explains to marketing stakeholders globally the various components that, once put together, lead to a successful campaign launch. In order to achieve this, you will be an accomplished manager of projects with a global view and understanding of how to effectively run them across geographies. The Global Channel Excellence Manager is responsible for: * Identifying and liaising with key stakeholders across internal marketing departments * Synthesizing complex and vast amounts of content into simple visuals and narrative. * Standardising the look and feel of materials to ensure ease for the end user. * Producing new content and writing it in an interesting and appealing manner (PowerPoint and Web) * Maintaining an internal-facing site and ensuring the information is accurate and up-to-date * Bachelor's degree * Project/vendor and stakeholder management skills. * Significant experience in sales, marketing, digital marketing, technology capability, and/or information services role. * Proficient Authoring/Editing Skills: ability to write clear, concise and grammatically correct copy. * Advanced PowerPoint skills * Familiarity with presenting and managing online content Desirable Requirements * Experience within a global organization with stakeholders in multiple geographies. * Comfortable conducting video interviews * Knowledge of/exposure to Pharmaceutical/Healthcare sectors. * Experience in a creative agency (digital marketing preferred). * Communication: ability to build relationships and confident presentation skills * Project Management Skills: highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused * Design: Understanding of basic User Experience principles * Capable of managing high stress situations and dealing with changes * Positive, proactive, go-getter personality ready to take on new challenges
