The R-CISC is the trusted cybersecurity community for retailers, consumer product manufacturers, grocers, hotels, restaurants, and cybersecurity industry partners worldwide. The R-CISC supports its member base, representing over $1 trillion in annual revenue, by serving as the conduit for collaboration, threat intelligence sharing and cooperation. We build and sustain valuable programs, partnerships, products and opportunities that enable our members to grow their trust-based relationships, strategic knowledge and tactical capabilities. Through the R-CISC, members of all sizes share cyber intelligence on incidents, threats, vulnerabilities, and associated threat remediation because as a community, we understand that we are stronger together. As a member of the Engagement Team, the Membership & Communications Manager is responsible for promoting membership and sponsorship opportunities, achieving growth goals, implementing and managing membership marketing and communications strategy, and serving as a key contributor to the R-CISC team through driving financial performance. R-CISC staff work in a remote work environment. Successful candidates should have remote work experience, be willing to travel for events and in-person meetings, and must be located in the Washington, DC metro area. Responsibilities In conjunction with Membership & Operations Director, develop and implement short and long-term growth strategies to increase membership growth and event sponsorship revenue Research leads and initiate sales cycle by illustrating the value of R-CISC membership to prospect Achieve and exceed growth goals related to membership and event sponsorship sales Build relationships through both in-person events and virtual engagement with current members, associates, external stakeholders and influencers to increase referrals and create collaborative growth opportunities Create and execute marketing plans to communicate the value of membership and benefits Own the marketing and communication strategy to reach R-CISC's target audience of prospective members, event attendees, event sponsors, industry and media partnerships Develop content marketing strategy and campaign communications to build awareness of member-driven initiatives, events, webinars, and announcements, including emails, blogs, website content, social media and content for other communication platforms, as needed Partner to identify and advance new and existing strategic relationships with industry alliances Collaborate internally to create and maintain the editorial calendar Ensure successful coordination of campaigns designed to build awareness, provide education and promote activities
