Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 11 level, or higher, in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience developing, analyzing, and interpreting records, directives, and/or forms management principles at an agency/organization level; serving as a SharePoint site owner or administrator; using automated systems to manage electronic records.

2. Knowledge of RIM principles and applications.
3. Skill in using automated forms design software.
4. Ability to communicate orally to effectively deal with employees at all levels in the organization.
5. Ability to communicate in writing to review and edit for correctness in grammar and content.
