The role The Corporate Recruiter ( internal title is Talent Acquisition Advisor ) is an expert in recruitment and staffing within the market. He/she keeps a pulse on industry trends in Talent Acquisition and pushes the boundaries to master new strategies in candidate sourcing. The TA Advisor is the face of Choice's Employer Brand. He/she knows how to balance maintaining a great candidate experience while ensuring hiring managers have the level of service needed to staff their roles. The TA Advisor is the subject matter expert in recruitment and will guide hiring managers through challenging candidate negotiations while advising business partners on best practices in recruitment. The TA advisor is a true Human Resources professional and will partner with Human Resource Business Partners to anticipate staffing issues and relay executable solutions. The TA Advisor will champion Choice's commitment to Diversity and Inclusion while working to staff for open and future positions. The team This position will report to the Manager, Corporate Talent Acquisition (Rockville) and will be part of the Rockville Corporate Office Talent Acquisition Team which includes Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor(s), Talent Acquisition Advisor(s), Talent Acquisition Specialist(s), and others as determined. What you will do Maintain an active workload on 15-20 requisitions on average. You will work with multiple hiring managers to fill corporate and field corporate positions. This will include executing hiring plans, creating sourcing strategies, candidate selection, and offer/declination. Build relationships with Hiring Managers to understand their staffing needs and anticipate future pipeline needs. In partnership with HR Business Partners, you will help execute a structured process to staffing that has been defined through Choice's Employment Value Proposition. Create, maintain, and engage an active pipeline of potential future candidates. Add valuable resources and knowledge to support Choice's dedication to diverse candidate recruitment by using sourcing strategies determined by the Manager, Corporate Talent Acquisition. Work on Talent Acquisition Special Projects that will allow the team to continue to create efficiencies in processes and adapt new TA strategies. Partner with the Employment Brand team to ensure job postings, candidate experience, and Employment Social Media content supports the Choice Hotels Employment Value Proposition (EVP) Skills you have Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field required. A minimum of 3-5 years' corporate recruitment experience required. Staffing agency recruitment experience is a plus as long is it is in combination with corporate recruitment. Experience with Applicant Tracking systems (such as Workday) is required. Full cycle recruitment experience is essential to role (sourcing, screening, selection, offer/negotiation, etc.) Experience in recruitment for professional level positions is required for this position. Experience partnering with external vendors when needed (ie, staffing firms, payroll agencies, etc.) is preferred. Experience sourcing passive candidates for difficult-to-fill positions with tools such as LinkedIn, resume databases, and networking activity.
