Responsible for the design and execution of HR strategy in support of business initiatives. Lead organization change through administration and creation of policies and programs covering the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, and employee relations. Resolve complex employee relation issues working directly with management. Contributes to organizations performance by providing strategic and tactical consulting on people strategies, organization development and other Human Resources specific or business initiatives. Essential Functions: Provides organizational consulting on key strategies in support of company objectives Initiates employee/talent development, sourcing and deployment strategies, which support the assigned client group/business unit. Conducts analysis of current and future people and skills needs of the assigned client group, and develops strategies and plans to meet those needs. Acts as a change agent, and helps identify/designs approaches to prepare employees for on-going change and transformation Creates processes and solutions in partnership with client leadership, which support a positive employee relations environment. Identifies strategies and processes to increase productivity, employee performance, and employee satisfaction. Designs metrics to track effectiveness of these initiatives. Facilitates communication around culture, vision, value to help guide actions and decisions of employees of the assigned client group/business unit. Work in conjunction with the Sr. Leaders and HR team to create a customer-focused HR culture and to maximize organizational impact and efficiency. Respond to employee complaints and conduct harassment and other investigations. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and corporate policies/processes. Works with leadership on defining job scope changes or newly created positions within the organization. Develop, revise and implement human resource policies and procedures. Lead special and cross-functional project teams. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in HR, business or technical related discipline required. Minimum of ten years HR Generalist experience supporting a specific business client. Strong working knowledge of employee relations, recruitment/staffing, training & development, organizational development, compensation strategy and benefits administration, total rewards and recognition. Professional certification preferred/required (PHR, SPHR, CCP). Strong consultative skills in a value driven HR model where focus is on being proactive instead of reactive. Experienced project management skills in leading cross-functional teams strongly preferred. Able to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision. Able to use technology to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Solid written and verbal communication, listening, organization and priority setting skills. Solid critical thinking and problem solving skills. Assertive, self-directed; able to work without supervision.
