We are seeking a dynamic HR Director for our client in the Educational industry. This person will be one of the key members of the HR SR Leadership Team, Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources. This individual must have a strong HR background, and have a deep understanding of core HR functions, such as Employee Relations, Organizational development, training and more. Duties include but are not limited to the following., * Interpret employment law to staff and upper corporate management. * Assist with tactical HR functions such as, staffing, compensation, I-9 compliance and labor relations. * Assist with organizational development, training, faculty and staff assistance and benefits. * Main point of contact for Employee Relations Issues. * Ability to interpret policies and procedures. * Draft, edit and proofread documents. * Become the expert source for inquiries on employment verifications, benefits information, and job openings in compliance with the company policies. * Maintain corporate HRIS data and create Ad Hoc reports. * Assist with collection of human resources related documents, including annual benefit enrollment forms, annual review forms and other acknowledgments. * Participate in special projects and assists all functional areas of the human resources. * All other duties as assigned. * Bachelor's degree desired, Master's Degree strongly preferred. * Seven to ten years of progressive experience in human resources. * Experience managing others is required to be considered. * A proven ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and tasks, and to deliver services in a time. * A high level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality. * Must have excellent interpersonal, communication skills. * Seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience in human resources positions * Proficiency with various with various computer software packages including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
