Lucas Group has partnered with a leading energy company on their search for a Director of HR located in Southern Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to influence and drive change in this growing company. This passionate, driven individual will provide HR support, guidance and advice on a variety of HR policy and program matters across critical business client groups. The Director will partner closely with key leaders and senior management to define the HR strategy and make changes when necessary to promote initiatives that align with corporate culture and values. * Create and implement a strategy to align human resources programs, plans, processes, practices, and tools, specifically in the areas of Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS, with our strategic business goals * Work in partnership with benefit brokers to design and manage the benefits platform, to include all health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs * Promote employee understanding of our compensation and benefit plans at all levels of the organization * Lead the design and management of our HRIS system, and all related technology in the areas of applicant tracking, compliance reporting, performance management, compensation and benefits, to ensure the effectiveness and scalability of HR systems * Oversee the development and management of HR reporting and analytics that will help drive the business through knowledge of key human capital metrics * Manage all broker and vendor relationships related to compensation, benefits, and HRIS programs, plans, processes, practices, and tools * Monitor the regulatory landscape to ensure the ongoing compliance of programs, plans, processes, and practices in the areas of compensation, benefits, and HRIS * Design and lead the implementation of the executive and non-executive total compensation/rewards philosophy, ensuring programs, plans, processes, and practices in base compensation, benefits, bonus, incentive compensation, equity, and all other perquisites, are both competitive and aligned with business goals * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree with a concentration in Human Resources, as well as appropriate HR Certification (PHR, SPHR or CEBS certification highly preferred) * 10-12 years of human resources operations experience, with at least 5-7 years in leadership roles supporting a global business * Experience implementing strategic HR initiatives to support organizational objectives * Previous experience supporting employees in a high-growth multi-location environment * Expert knowledge of self-insured benefit plans, 401k programs, wellness initiatives, and the regulatory landscape related to employee benefits
