The Database Specialist will join a strategically focused and highly motivated team of Philanthropy professionals who are committed to expanding and enhancing philanthropy to support Adventist HealthCares mission of providing physical, spiritual and mental healing to our patients and communities. Current initiatives include a $20 million capital campaign for Adventist HealthCare Washington Adventist Hospital, and program and capital support for Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center, Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation, The Lourie Center for Childrens Social and Emotional Wellness and Adventist HealthCare Home Care Services.

The Database Specialist will be responsible for consistently and accurately entering gift information, updating donor records, and adding meaningful data into Raisers Edge. In addition, he/she will be responsible for running queries, imports, exports and lists as needed to advance fundraising efforts. This individual will work closely with the Philanthropy Operations Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures that standardize the use of the database. The Database Specialist will be responsible for expanding the use of Raisers Edge to support front-line fundraising activity.


Undergraduate degree preferred

Three (3) years relevant experience in Gift Processing/ Fundraising Support

Experience in Healthcare Philanthropy preferred
