Position Overview
Regulatory Reporting & Analysis is a function within the Finance department that is responsible for providing the mandated Enterprise Portfolio Snapshot (EPS), Mortgage Loan Integrated System (MLIS), House Price Index (HPI) and Historical Loan Performance (HLP) submissions to FHFA. The Enterprise Portfolio Snapshot (EPS) submission contains the instrument- and loan-level data reflecting Freddie Mac’s financial position at the end of each reporting period consistent with FHFA’s report instructions and data dictionary. The Regulatory Reporting Professional will primarily work with the other analysts in Regulatory Reporting & Analysis to provision and analyze the EPS data, utilize knowledge in Fixed Income & Derivatives to identify and research any issues related to the Regulatory submissions, and implement planned changes.

Basic Requirements
* 3- 5 years of relevant work experience
* BS in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired
* Knowledge of Fixed Income securities and Derivatives
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze, identify, communicate and assist with following up on complex issues
* Good understanding of secondary mortgage market
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Drive to take ownership for individual assignments
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong attention to detail
* Proficient with the following applications: MS Access, Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong data mining and analytical capability to independently research issues in a timely manner

Preferred Skills
* 2-4 years of experience in the financial services or secondary mortgage industry
* Hands-on experience with SQL and/or SAS to query databases and other
data files (e.g. SAS and Text file).
* Experience writing requirements and testing
* Familiar with change management process and standards
