Director, Membership & Marketing

Do you have at least 5 years of experience in marketing project management for an Association?  Our client, a Membership Association near Foggy Bottom is recruiting for a Temp-to-Hire Director of Membership and Marketing.  This Director will manage all aspects of the development and production of membership marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities will include project management, maintaining marketing development schedules, developing and generating reports on the response rates to acquisition and retention initiatives, and other marketing programs.  Will also participate in the strategic and creative development and communication of membership marketing campaigns.  This includes writing and copyediting marketing materials; coordinating their development and distribution; and coordinating promotional programs with membership operations and other communication center teams.

Other responsibilities will include managing business functions of the membership marketing campaigns by tracking progress of expenses against budgets, tracking and reconciling vendor invoices for development programs, and assisting the department senior director with the department budgeting process.

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience in marketing project management for an Association.  Excellent written and verbal skills are required as well as excellent project management and organizational experience.  Must have working knowledge of marketing strategy, copywriting, design and implementation.  Must also have knowledge of the printing process, website publication, broadcast email, social media and other marketing tools.
