Responsibilities: 

• Serving as the main point of contact for beneficiaries of the HF, DKSSF, and HEI
• Overseeing the recruitment and selection of students for HF and DKSSF; researching university placements, assisting students with registering for admissions tests, and providing application support 
• Managing scholarship programs, including making payments to schools and tracking student budgets, monitoring academic progress of students and liaising with the field office staff and U.S. colleges and universities
• Drafting student program agreements, sponsorship letters and academic reports for sponsors
• Maintaining AMEX log of credit card payments and reconciling charges against monthly billing statement
• Managing logistical details for student workshops, orientations, and travel accommodations 
• Serving as the Department representative to Sprintax, the student tax preparers 
• Inputting student information on AMIDEAST’s student data base, updating information as needed   
• Assisting Program Coordinator with Quarterly Reports, Proposals and Budgets 
• Reviewing expense reports and timesheets for independent contractors
• Representing AMIDEAST/the Exchange Programs department at partner visits, career fairs and conferences
• Assuming other special activities, duties and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, Master’s preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a student services environment
• Previous supervisory experience 
• Ability to maintain and organize a large amount of detailed information (ex: program budgets and student information)
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Proficiency with Windows environment, particularly MS Office
• Familiarity utilizing Excel spreadsheets
• Excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail
• Ability to accept responsibility and work independently
• Superior communication skills and solid command of the English language and grammar

Preferred:
• Prior experience working for an international company/organization
