Overview PURPOSESupport the LafargeHolcim government and public affairs team and assist in the development of policy positions, program communications, information papers, presentations and internal and external reports. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Research and design policy analysis to support state and federal public policy and advocacy efforts.Demonstrate leadership and a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to Health and Safety policies and practices in all work environments and areas.Manage the creation and production of internal research and policy products aimed at increasing awareness of key internal decision makers.Manage the creation, production, and release of public facing research and policy products aimed at influencing key decision makers, the general public, and achieving positive policy outcomes. Lead the production and publishing of internal communication tools to promote the LafargeHolcim US Employees PAC.Prepare research and policy analysis for LafargeHolcim's government affairs team to meet with policymakers and stakeholders.Participate in the development of LafargeHolcim policy positions, prepare regulatory and legislative comments and testimony, and develop and recommend policy proposals.Prepare research and policy analysis for LafargeHolcim's government affairs team to serve as a spokesperson on technical, policy issues, and to represent LafargeHolcim at various public forums.Assist in the preparation of the government affairs team's policy agenda with legislative and administrative bodies, NGO's, ENGO's and business groups.Collaborate with members of the Environment, Land, and Government Affairs teamRELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER JOBSAs required, liaise with Communications, Strategy and Development, Sales and Marketing and Business Unit leadership. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESRequired Education: Bachelor's/University DegreeAdditional Education Preferred: Master's/Graduate DegreePreferred field of study: Economics, political science or lawRequired Work Experience: 3-5 yearsTravel Requirements: 10%Additional Requirements:Must be able to work as part of a team to ensure continuous improvement in functional area as well as the overall operationsLicenses/Certifications: NoneComputer and Software Skills: Demonstrate computer and presentation software proficiencyOther: Construction materials industry background a plus#CB1
