  • Development Qualifications: Possess twelve (12) months of work experience in a federal human resources office or equivalent which demonstrates knowledge of at least two of the following functional human resources competencies: Staffing & Recruitment, Position Classification, Management Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or Training. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.

    Highly Preferred: In addition to above minimum qualification requirements, applicants will possess twelve (12) months of prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office and have completed CHRA NAF Career Path I. In order to meet the highly preferred criteria you must submit the related training certificates at the time of application.

    Full Performance qualifications:

    Generalist: Possess twenty-four (24) months of work experience in a federal human resources office or equivalent which demonstrates knowledge of at least two of the following functional human resources competencies: Staffing & Recruitment, Position Classification, Management Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or Training. Experience analyzing, evaluating and recommending appropriate resolutions to complex interrelated Human Resources problems and issues. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems. The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower pay band (NF-03).

    Highly Preferred: In addition to above minimum qualification requirements, applicants will possess twelve (12) months of prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office and have completed CHRA NAF Career Path I.

    Recruitment and Placement: Possess twenty-four (24) months of work experience in a federal human resources office or equivalent which demonstrates knowledge to apply Nonappropriated Fund Recruitment & Placement concepts, principles, laws, regulations and practices. Experience analyzing, evaluating and recommending appropriate resolutions to complex interrelated recruitment and staffing problems and issues. Possess work experience creating and posting vacancy announcements as well as rating applicants for qualifications and eligibility utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.). Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems. The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower pay band (NF-03).

Experience analyzing, evaluating and recommending appropriate resolutions to complex interrelated employee relations problems and issues. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems. The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower pay band (NF-03).

    Highly Preferred: In addition to above minimum qualification requirements, applicants will possess twelve (12) months of prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in an employee relations capacity and have completed CHRA NAF Career Path I.
