Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Litigation Support)

Experience must be IT related; may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.
IT-related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies:

3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. You must meet all requirements, including time-in-grade, no later than 30 days after the closing date of this announcement and before placement in the position.
Specialized experience is defined as assessing service and information requirements needed to complete automated litigation support projects. This position requires advanced knowledge and experienced in Eclipse SE Admin and Desktop, Relativity, Trial Director, TimeMap and CaseMap; electronic data acquisition and processing (using Law PreDiscovery, NUIX, or similar application); pre-trial and trial support, including courtroom presentation services; preparing project-specific action plans and budgets using the allocation of government resources; and acquire and manage contractor resources as needed. This position should possess the ability to train new users in the platform. Relativity certifications are desirable, but not required.
