    Applicants must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level.

    Specialized experience is defined as: drafting and finalizing correspondence and briefings; managing travel arrangements; managing executive level calendar; providing advisories on management and administrative policies; assisting with developing operating procedures, policies and/or instructions; assisting with conducting/planning/organizing large scale conferences or training events; querying database and generating reports; using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

    Specialized experience is defined as: Analyzing, evaluating and implementing administrative management guidance; drafting and finalizing correspondence and briefing; managing travel arrangements; exclusively managing executive level calendar; providing advisories to senior staff on management and administrative policies; developing operating procedures, policies and/or instructions; conducting/planning/organizing large scale conferences or training events; querying database and generating reports; using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

    Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE AT THE GS-09 LEVEL: A Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.

    SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE AT THE GS-11 LEVEL: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.

    • Travel: Some travel is required. Travel is typically local; however, some overnight travel may be required. Mobile auditor positions may require extensive travel (50% - 75%) between contractor locations. Government vehicles are not provided for use by DCAA mobile auditors.
