    Your application will be evaluated on the following Core Competencies:
    • Knowledge of the Americans with Disability Act of 1990 (ADA), the ADA Amendments Act of 2008, and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended, administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedents for employees with disabilities.
    • Ability to ensure the simultaneous completion of multiple assignments within established time frames.
    • Experience in resolving complex issues involving sensitive or confidential matters.
    • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in resolving reasonable accommodation request.
    • Demonstrated experience with developing a budget, implementing and evaluating guidelines and standards as they relate to employees with disabilities.
    • Ability to plan, develop, schedule and present or oversee disability training programs for Agency management and employees.
    • Skills to efficiently present data, complex ideas and options to a wide-range of audiences and to persuasively sell controversial changes and/or solutions both verbally and in writing.
    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translate directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
