Leads, directs, integrates and coordinates Cardiac Services throughout Sentara. Assumes responsibility and accountability for strategic planning and success of the Cardiac Product line across Sentara. Responsible for ensuring alignment of Cardiac Serviced at each division and coordinating with key onsite leaders for this alignment. Position has significant strategic and financial impact on current and future success of the Cardiac Service Line. Responsible for alignment of physicians, staff, volunteers, and any other employed or non-employed staff around Cardiac Services. System responsibility for program development and oversight. Responsible for the coordination of delivery of high quality best practice services to meet or exceed customer satisfaction expectations. Coordinated the development and marketing of new services and strategic planning for service, to include all educational needs. Contributes to the success of the hospitals through achievement of system, hospital and divisional goals. Provides leadership and administers human resource policies and practices in a multi-skilled, multi-functional environment.

Education Level
Master's Level Degree

Required: Clinical Data Analytics - 5 years, Clinical Management - 5 years, Healthcare Management - 5 years

Bachelor's level degree and significant relevant experience may be substituted. Minimum of 5 years recent supervisory or departmental management experience in Cardiac Services and 5 years clinical data analytics experience required. Consideration given to Administrative Residency experience.
