Selectee will be required to complete and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, prior to entering the position and annually thereafter.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional training, experience and possibly education. Applicants should meet the DAWIA Certification requirements for the Facilities Engineering Career Field and be certified at Level III at the time of application. This position is non-critical sensitive. The incumbent must be eligible for secret security clearance.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or in the private sector performing duties such as: 1) Various types of construction contracts, project delivery methods, and regulations governing Federal contract administration; 2) Knowledge of engineering principles and practices to provide guidance in the construction, operations, maintenance and repair of facilities; 3) Ensuring construction plans are in compliance with engineering, safety, and environmental standards; and 4) Ensuring financial expenditures are within established Navy budget controls.
