Regional Engagement Coordinator - Office of Advancement
The Coordinator for Regional Engagement serves over 100 Alumni Clubs and Regional Contacts around the world, engaging with alumni and parents from around the globe on a daily basis. This position is a vital part of the engagement team that focuses primarily on four areas: Metrics and Measurement, Financial Operations, Volunteer Training and Technology, and other Special Projects. Tasks in a given day will vary widely from data-driven operations, to volunteer management and event planning.
Internally, the Coordinator binds the Regional Engagement team in many ways. First, through metrics and analysis, they work closely with all members of the team to ensure accurate recording and processes of their data. Additionally, through financial operations, they have their finger on the pulse of all team accounting and activities, and appropriately follow up as needed with the team. Last, through training all Club Volunteers, they acquire a unique and broader relationship with alumni than the team, and may have special knowledge of the inner workings of certain regions and volunteers. This position reports directly to the Director of Regional Engagement.
Requirements and Qualifications
Graduate from a four-year university required. Practical experience in data analysis is a must; volunteer management and/or event management experience are a plus. Experience with data visualization or presentation software strongly preferred, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office.
