Position Overview
The Data Management Professional role will be part of the Structured Transactions and Surveillance department within the Single Family Portfolio Management division. Freddie Mac has engaged in a series of credit risk transfer transactions in order to reduce credit risk and maximize the value of our portfolio. Among these transactions are re-performing loan sale and securitization deals where Freddie Mac guarantees certain securities and has a contractual obligation to provide Guarantor Oversight through Servicer Surveillance. This role will be specifically focused on that oversight and surveillance process. Responsibilities Include: *Ownership of monthly servicing data collection, data integrity analysis, and reporting
*Development and execution of processes to improve servicer data integrity and identify servicing exceptions
*Reconciliation of trustee and servicer loan activity data
*Communication with servicers and trustees to reconcile and resolve data discrepancies
*Performance of surveillance activities associated with Freddie Mac’s ‘Structured Credit Risk Transfer’ and ‘Seasoned Loan Structured Transaction’ series deals
*Administration of the remedy process

Basic Requirements
*Two years of experience in loan servicing, loan data management, investor reporting, loss mitigation, or similar fields
*Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
*Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
*Self-starter / independent thinker
*Detailed oriented
*Ability to take on new roles with responsibility with limited guidance and direction from management
*Results-focused and team-oriented
*Intermediate skills Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills
*Experience in the financial services industry
*Intermediate skills with Access
*Strong communication skills
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Ability to amass and analyze large volumes of seemingly disparate data with limited guidance
*Working knowledge of Freddie Mac’s business, data and systems
