The Ford Agency is seeking an experienced and detail oriented Conflicts Analyst to join a highly ranked and well-regarded law firm in downtown DC. The role is responsible for in-depth research and reporting regarding potential conflicts with clients and new hires. The successful candidate will have strong prior legal conflicts and research experience solid analytical skills.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to use their skills in an environment where collaboration and teamwork have strong foundations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct extensive searches to identify potential conflicts with new and existing clients
  • Research potential conflicts for new hires
  • Train legal and administrative staff on how to prepare conflict memos and reporting
  • Create and maintain screening memos
  • Respond to inquiries related to prior conflicts searches

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legal experience required
    • Conflicts, Accounting, Research, or Records experience preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with senior professional staff 
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn new applications, information resources, and research methodologies
  • Technical Skills:
    • MSOffice
    • Lexis, Accuity, Capital IQ and D&B
    • Intapp Suite or Legal Key, preferred
