Sr. Contracts Administrator
ECS is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to work in our Fairfax, VA - HQ office. Job Description:Full life cycle contract management (cradle-to-grave). Administers prime contracts/sub-to-prime contracts, including preparation and negotiation of proposals, contract administration, and contract close-out.Serves as the company's primary point of contact with the contracting officials and/or Prime Contractor's Subcontracts Administrator for all assigned contracts.Provides contracts advice, interpretation of contract requirements and identification of risk to program management and senior leadership.Reviews solicitation requests to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.Negotiates contract terms from proposal stage to contract close-out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies.Coordinates with program managers to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled.May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced contracts administrators.Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices.Participates in special projects as required.Required Skills:Bachelors Degree3+ years of experience with State and Local contracting.7+ years of industry experience with Federal Government Contracting, specifically DoD and Civilian Agencies.Familiarity with NASPO ValuePoint Cloud Solutions.Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation and its supplements, as well as the Uniform Commercial Code.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook).Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.Desired Skills:Professional certification (CPCM/CFCM) preferred.Costpoint experience preferred.ECS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
