Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).
You may qualify at the GS-0201-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of full-time specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal Service performing duties which include: 1.) Serving as an administrator for a time and attendance system; 2.) Developing training and providing instruction for pay administration and time and attendance system; 3.) Providing advice and assistance to staff and management on various pay matters including, but not limited to setting pay, Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP, military service deposits, retroactive pay, etc.; 4.) Providing advice to labor relations and employee relations on matters that involve time and attendance and/or pay and leave entitlements; and 5.) Providing on the job training for employees responsible for processing payroll actions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience
