Newborn Hearing Technician Bilingual - Audiology Dept
Every other Saturday and Sunday working 8am - 12 Noon.
Complete universal hearing screens on all newborns in accordance with the recommendations of the AAP Task Force on Newborn and Infant Hearing, the Joint Committee on Infant Hearing (2007) and MD EHDI Program.
a. Interacts daily with patients, public and employees to receive and/or provide information.
b. Communicates any issues or needs respectfully to supervisor and directors.
c. Assist with departmental QI Initiatives
d. Performs selected secretarial duties as assigned
** Bilingual Spanish preferred
a. Pediatric Experience preferred / On-the-job training and orientation
b. CPR - BLS by American Heart Association required
c. Strong customer service skills
d. Ability to work independently and handle a multi-task environment and be proficient PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, email and Windows
