Responsibilities include:

Providing administrative support to the Executive Director.

Serves as a resource for all of the Lourie Center's staff and programs and contributes to the critical success of the organization.

Works closely with areas including Finance/HR/Development/Legal to ensure information is provided on a timely basis.

Develop and maintain electronic filing system for administrative and personnel records, ensuring that this information is confidential.

Coordinates communication with the Board of Directors.

Takes notes for board meetings.

Prepares yearly schedules for Board, Town Hall and Executive Staff meetings.

Leads, trains and coordinates with administrative staff of all programs.

Welcomes all guests to the Center and coordinates activities with contractors and vendors to ensure the effective operation of the Center.

Qualifications:

Pleasant demeanor as this is the first point of contact for all visitors and callers.

Two years experience in an administrative or executive assistant role.

Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and time deadlines.

Proficient in collaborating and delegating of duties.

Highly self-motivated, professional and capable of prioritizing tasks.

English speaking required, ability to speak Spanish preferred.

Work Schedule

8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday
