Job Description:
Sentara Princess Anne Hospital Security Department is hiring a Security Team Leader.

Department/Position Overview:


The Security Team Leader serves as a resource for team members, performs departmental work assignments, acts as process/technical expert for Security, trains new staff, and partners with Security leadership regarding operating issues.

Top candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of one year of security experience required.

Candidates are required to present a driving record at interview.

The Team Leader in Security serves as a resource for team members; performs departmental work assignments, acts as process-owner/technical expert for Security; provides orientation and training to new and incombent staff, and provides the leadership team (Team Coordinator, Manager, Director) with input on various operating issues to include assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement and customer service activities.

Other
Handle With Care De-Escalation training must be successfully completed within 180 days of hire. Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) certification by International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) must be successfully obtained within 90 days of hire. Former military, law enforcement or security officer experience preferred
