Seeking a Payroll Coordinator for an organization that is located in the Howard/Baltimore County, MD area. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity through the county which means a very competitive salary along with stellar benefits. The ideal person will be detail oriented, has a strong work ethic, is approachable and conscientious. The opportunity is in a brand new and beautiful building. Duties:

  • Processing bi-weekly payroll for 350+ staff
  • Primary contact for time, leave and payroll related topics
  • Work collaboratively with the Benefits Administrator
  • Manage year-end processes
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to staff inquiries regarding payroll issues (phone/email/written)
  • Develop and maintain payroll reporting
  • Making sure all payroll documents are accurate and complete
  • Update staff when needed about new/changes to payroll

Qualifications:

  • College degree (required)
  • 3+ yrs exp. in payroll
  • ADP (required)
  • Strong Excel skills
